I haven’t really picked up a ‘proper’ camera in nearly 3-months; street photography, nautical projects and ‘general observations’ are all on the back burner, simmering. I’m writing a book, a semi-fictional account of the lives of trawler fishermen. Interviewing dozens of crew members from all over the UK, I’m discovering some of their stories are ‘provocative’, hence the semi-fictional genre. I will need to change the majority of names and locations because accounts cover the entire spectrum of colours in the controversy rainbow, from naughty to highly illegal.
The book, whose highly imaginative working title is ‘Fishing book’, is a long way off finished. I am, however, going to make more time for photography.
Most of the images here were made using an iPhone 11 and editing with my latest favourite app, RNI Films.

wow good luck with the book.
