I love this time of year, especially on the Isle of Man. My home town of Peel is perched on the west of the island, but sits in a north/north-westerly facing aspect, so although we get a lot of quality daylight, Peel is also very exposed to the harshest of weather, even in the summer.
Some people dread the winter. I don’t. I look forward to the short days, the low, watery light and the gales and storms rolling in over Ireland off the North Atlantic. Personally, I feel I’ve always produced my best work during the winter months, both on and off land. Bring it.
Beautiful stuff Phil. Great monochrome images and i see your point about making the best out of bad weather conditions.
