I don’t understand this type of photography? It has no purpose? Anyone could take photos like this and pass them off as ‘Street Photography’. Just another hipster fad, sorry.
Fran, you’ve almost answered your own question- the purpose of street photography is to document life as it is, today. Yes, anyone can do it. I look forward to seeing your work 😊
good answered.
everyone can, but not everyone succeeds 🙂
exactly like playing blues, painting abstracts, and … well to be a surgeon it’s a little bit different 🙂
If you looked carefully you would notice that there is a lot of emotion in these photos. My only advice look closer to obvious and mundane makes life much interesting. For start, watch some Tarkovsky films.
OMG! These images! They make me uneasy, slightly uncomfortable… I love! Your latest mono work is masterful. William Klein, Daido Moriyama Masterful. Seriously 😐

Fabulous images. It’s not just what you’ve captured but also the light, and the cropping that adds power to them. Not just anyone can do this.

I say your work reminds of William Klein and Daido Moriyama, and I’d say you’re in the same league (or will be).
Keep on 🙂
