These are good but they obviously weren’t taken on a Polaroid camera – no Polaroid camera focuses this close. They also have an obvious VSCO (or similar) look to them. Very well repro’d though 🙂
Steve, I think it’s always wise to do a bit of research before you starting making wild accusations. As one of the models from the images above I can confirm that these were taken on Polaroid film. Here’s some information about the SX70 that actually shows the camera can focus up to 26cm… ‘The SX-70 has a folding body design, a 4-element 116mm f/8 glass lens, and an automatic exposure system. The camera allows manual focus as close as 26.4cm (10.4″), and has a shutter speed range from 1/175s to more than 10 seconds.’
Lightroom is an editing program, right? Like VSCO, it’s wouldn’t make any sense to use it unless you were adding some kind of digital alteration. The images have an obvious filter on them, which is fine, I think they look kind of cool, but don’t try and pull the wool over people’s eyes.
It was a pleasure to meet you, Phil, you should stay longer next time! I spent most of yesterday afternoon going through your images and writing – I’m excited about your fishing boat project – there doesn’t seem to be many photographers covering the topic, certainly not in the way you are. TBH, I didn’t really know where the Isle of Man was? Looking at it now, you appear perfectly located!

What is obvious is that you know nothing about Polaroid cameras – these images were made using an SX-70, which focuses down to 30cm.

Hmmmm….I’m still not convinced, to be honest, they just look very processed and ‘VSCO’d’.

So they are edited and digitized! I rest my case.

How does Steve think any photos shot on film get to his computer screen? LOL. Some people…

Steve, you blatantly know nothing about photography, either analogue or digital.
