    I love the way you can switch between serious, harrowing photojournalism to tender, beautiful portraiture at the flip of a switch – genius. They are all incredible shots, but the first one, the mono…. it brings water to my eyes it’s so beautiful.

    Phil, people, especially woman appear to be very at ease in your presence, that’s a rare talent in itself, let alone for a portrait photographer. There’s always the same serene, almost tranquil, relaxed gaze to all of your models… it intrigues me!

    I’ll also reiterate what Jenny said – the way you adjust from photojournalism to portraiture is prodigious.
